(the following information was emailed via Team Reps to all CA all-star athlete families):

 Initially CA Day was scheduled for Saturday, August 21. We have decided to move CA Day to a later date and it will be a show-off prior to the start of our competition schedule. CA Day will be a fun day for family and friends to gather at the gym to see what our teams have been working on thus far! The coaches are excited to share with you what the teams have been working on and we're confident that this competitive season will be a success! Once the new CA Day date is confirmed, we will notify all of you so you can mark your calendars.

The gym will be closed on Sunday, August 22 so that the coaches can attend a mandatory USASF Regional Coaches Meeting. At this meeting, our coaches will get the latest in coaches training, safety certification and other pertinent information that will better our program for the upcoming season. The gym will resume regular gym hours and practices on Monday, August 23.

The class schedule will continue and remain normal with the exception of being closed on July 4.

The all-star teams will continue their normal schedule through Wednesday June 23.   (We WILL have the Sunday practices on June 20.)

The all-star teams will then be off until July 5, when they will resume their normal schedule.

June 22-24

Jags, Cougars, Tigers, Panthers, Cheetahs, Fiercekatz, WIldcats

Please note that all teams WILL practice on Sunday, June 20.

Kittens, Wonderkatz, Lynx, and Cougars were all named as the International All-Levels Grand Champions for the 2009-10 season!     Judges watched videos of competitions from all across the country and selected those 4 CA teams as the very top performers in their division.   This is a great accomplishment!

We have added a bit to the information that we are giving out to people coming to the tryout.    We have included sample sheets that are similar to the ones that athletes will fill out when they arrive at the gym for tryouts with a bit of explanation of the terms.

We have also included a brief look at some of the changes that are in store for the all-star teams this year.  We are very excited about the improvements to our program and are eager to share those with prospective new or returning athletes.
