icon05/04/2010 - New Tryout Information

We have added a bit to the information that we are giving out to people coming to the tryout.    We have included sample sheets that are similar to the ones that athletes will fill out when they arrive at the gym for tryouts with a bit of explanation of the terms.

We have also included a brief look at some of the changes that are in store for the all-star teams this year.  We are very excited about the improvements to our program and are eager to share those with prospective new or returning athletes.

icon04/26/2010 - Worlds 2010

It was another incredible weekend for the CA Family.   We sent 5 amazing teams to Disney World compete against the top all-star programs from around the world.  After some fantastic performances on the first day, CA had all 5 teams qualify for the finals on Sunday.   (No program had ever sent that many teams and had them all advance to the final round.)

After the finals on Sunday, CA came home with 4 medals for the second year in a row. ()   Wildcats and Jags each brought home Silvers.   Panthers and Fiercekatz each won Bronze.   Even with some mistakes in finals, Cheetahs still finished in the top 6 of an ultra-competitive 49-team division.   (They had 3rd highest score on day 1.)

With 4 Worlds medals,  CA extended its lead over all other programs in total medals.   After 7 years of Worlds, we have had 19 teams come home with the coveted prizes.   (The next closest program has 12.)

Needless to say, we are incredibly proud of all of our teams and athletes.  We had a huge number of parents/family members/fans in Orlando and the crowds for each of our teams were fantastic.  It was a great day to be a part of the CA family.

Our teams are competing this weekend at the All Levels Championship. This is an end-of-year event hosted by several different event producers, including NCA, ACA, and UCA. There are 4 diffent locations for this event around the country. Videos from the winning teams at each event will be compared to each other and true "national" champions will be selected from the 4 "regionals". Basically our teams are competing against teams from all over the country - even those going to competitions in different states. Good luck to all of our teams this weekend!

Cat West (Panthers) wrote a beautiful essay about her experience working with Superkatz.   USASF picked it up and ran it in their monthly online magazine.  We are very proud of her!
