WORLD CHAMPIONS - TIMES 2!

CA had another amazing year at Worlds, adding two World Championships and a Bronze to their collection of titles and medals.  FierceKatz and Pumas brought the house down, winning golds in their divisions.  This brought our World Championship total to 6 (more than any program in the world.)   JungleCats took home the bronze with a great performance, bring our medal count to 11 (also a record.)   Wildcats, Panthers, and Jags also looked fantastic and represented our program incredibly well.  For complete results, visit www.iasfworlds.org.

If you missed the tryout sessions and are still interested in being a part of the top all-star program in the world, please email Brad - bhabermel@cheerathletics.com.  We do occasionally add athletes throughout the season.  Spots on teams later in the season are often limited and we are often only looking for specific types of athletes at that point.   Bottom line - if you are still thinking of trying out, let us know ASAP and we can arrange a private tryout for you soon.

Several athletes have expressed an interest in Level 6 International teams.  We may add a coed and/or all-girl level 6 later in the year.  If we opt to do this, the team(s) will be formed later in the season (likely after summer) and be a 1/2 year situation like Cheetahs was.  This would be strictly for ages 17 and up and they would compete and practice less often than our Levels 1-5 (and involve less expense.)

Cheer Athletics Ranked #1 by American Cheerleader

The trio of Jody Melton, Brad Habermel, and Angela Rogers topped American Cheerleader Magazine's recent list of the "Most Influential" people in the history of All-Star cheerleading.  The list included coaches, gym owners, competition company owners, and more.  We are incredibly excited about the recognition of our staff and their contribution to the cheerleading industry.  (Former CA Dance Director and current choreographer Eric Little was selected as #4.)  They also recognized 9 top athletes from around the world and 4 CA athletes made the list.  Cassie Trammell, Ambrel Mitchell, and Tye Hill of Jungle Cats were the first 3 on the list and former Wildcat Matt McGrath was also included.
